Flat-Pack Furniture Assembly

STT can quickly and efficiently assembly any brand of flat-pack furniture. We have plenty of experience with furniture Ikea (including PAX wardrobes), Argos, Asda, B&Q, Habitat, Homebase, John Lewis, Mamas and Papas, Tesco, and many more.

Whilst we can readily assemble any bed, wardrobes, bookcases, shelving units, or even whole ranges of furniture, our experts can competently put together anything requiring home assembly – one of the more common items we get asked for help with is gym equipment, especially when it needs to be bolted to the wall or floor. Whatever it is, with decades of combined experience, you can take comfort in knowing that we will get the job done in short time with the minimum of fuss and very little disruption to your family and routine; and whilst it’s never actually been an issue, in the extremely unlikely event that something should go wrong, you have the peace of mind of knowing that we carry full public liability insurance.

In addition to indoor furniture and gym equipment, we also assemble patio sets and other outdoor furniture as well as all children’s play equipment such as climbing frames and play-houses, and have experience assembling arches, arbours and pergolas, garden sheds, greenhouses, cold-frames, and summerhouses – both flat-pack and made to order through our expert carpentry and joinery service, and in addition to laying foundations, our team of experts can deal with any paving, electrical and plumbing requirements that go with your new garden structure.

As part of our full flat-pack furniture assembly service, we will be very happy to disassemble and reassemble flat-pack furniture when you move home. Several times people have called us having dismantled their wardrobes (it’s almost always wardrobes) in their old home only to realise they should have kept the original plans because they simply cannot remember how to put it all back together once they are in their new place. Fortunately, all of our staff are natural problem solvers and some of us have so much experience with flat-pack furniture that knowing what goes where has almost become an instinct.

We will remind you of this when you hire us, but because flat-pack furniture occasionally arrives with one of more of the essential fixings missing, it can save a lot of time if you check the inventory of parts when your furniture arrives. Because the vast majority of fixings used in the production of flat pack furniture are common across the industry, and because STT has accumulated a stock of spare fixings over the years, as it’s typically the case that you have 19 of something and there are supposed to be 20, if you email us a picture or two with the precise measurements, there’s about an 80% chance we will have that fixing, which could save you having to wait a week or more for the original supplier to post one to you.

Finally, as long as you let us know in advance, we will be happy to help you rearrange the room/s where your new furniture is going, and we will also dismantle any old furniture and dispose of it for you for the price of what it costs us to dispose of commercial waste.
